Do you have memories of not being included?

Deep down is there a fear of not being included?

Do you live with exclusion in subtle ways?

 

Many of us have experienced exclusion in one form or another.

• A game as a child
• A party not invited to
• A date that didn’t happen
• A friend or those we would have liked to be our friends who choose not to be
• A job we didn’t get
• A promotion not received
• Perhaps marriage that passed us by
• Treatment by others for a variety of reasons

The list can be quite long.

It feels like the combination of a breath of fresh air and a warm hug to learn that we are included.

 

Who wants you more than life itself?

Christ Jesus, God’s Son

That’s why this message is here.

God loves you.

His Son, Jesus, loves you.

His Spirit loves you.

1. God declares it.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16, 17

2. God demonstrates it.

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”  Romans 5:8

“For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,”      I Corinthians 15:3, 4

3. God shows us the Way.

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

4. God pledges it.

“… if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”  Romans 10:9, 10

 

Every day is a day of rejoicing even when suffering from life’s challenges.

Rejoice and be glad

for you are loved.

You have a choice for inclusion.
